Women's Pairs Championship

Description

PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP (Blue Ribbon)

1. Both players must be Female

2. Both Players must be from the same affilliated Club

3. Each game shall consist of 18 ends; 4 bowls each player, the leads to play their four bowls before the skips. In the event of a tie at the end of the game, an extra end must be played, the shots in this end to count in the final score.   
4. Each pair shall consist of two competitors who must be playing members of the same Club. The two players taking part in the first game shall constitute the Pair and should normally play together throughout the competition. One additional and the same player may however be used as a substitute at any time provided, they have not already played in the competition.   
5. To the winning Pairs will be accorded the Pairs Championship of the County. They will be entitled to hold for one year the women the Colville Cup, men the 'Briscoe Cup' and each will be awarded a suitable prize. The runners-up will each be awarded a suitable prize. 
6. There will be no travelling money issued, for qualifying for Leamington.
